    Description
    INFINITEK is currently hiring a Reliability Engineer for a customer location in Concord California.

    The Reliability Engineer will works on-site at a customer facility, directly coordinates, schedules and participates in work with the customer to comply with the service agreement.

    Troubleshoots by investigating problems related to product performance and application specific criteria. Makes less complex and routine seal and equipment recommendations utilizing standard engineering judgment and responsibility to resolve customer inquiries. Travel as required performing duties and working directly with customers.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    On-Site Troubleshooting:
    Conduct on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic failure analysis.
    Provide recommendations for product applications based on technical expertise.

    Technical Support:
    Interface between customers and the region's technical functions.
    Network information with sales management and other regional technical functions to share problem-solving experiences.

    Seal Application and Analysis:
    Apply process and equipment knowledge to analyze and solve problems related to products.
    Formulate seal application needs based on process and equipment functions.

    Industry Focus:
    Understand and focus on the particular industries prevalent in the region.
    Review problematic seal selections and propose updated recommendations.

    Engineering Calculations:
    Perform engineering calculations using computerized databases, such as Web Calcs and FEA software (CSTEDY).
    Handle parts weighing up to 25 lbs.

    Training and Supervision:
    Train customers in the application of products.
    Provide assistance in training personnel on customer needs.
    Supervise onsite reliability engineers and technicians (CRE's and CRT's) based on regional demands.

    Safety and Environmental Compliance:
    Complete all work in a safe manner, following safety requirements.
    Adhere to environmental requirements in line with the company's goals.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
    Minimum 3 years of professional experience in plant process systems and equipment operation
    Experience with rotating equipment and mechanical seals is essential.
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
    Valid driver's license in good standing.
    Solid multi-project management skills and experience, with the ability to deliver on limited schedules.

    Petrochemical or Industrial experience would be preferred.
