- Develop expertise in core production processes to deliver crucial results
- Identify process enhancements by collaborating with department managers and technicians to implement effective initiatives
- Work with technicians on corrective actions, implementations, and maintaining results
- Champion key safety and quality standards in plant operations and assess their impact on the process
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to support our High-Performance Organization (HPO) culture
- Utilize continuous improvement and problem-solving tools (why-why, fishbone, failure analysis, etc.) to tackle root causes
- Assist in startups for new product projects and capital endeavors
- Drive material and packaging enhancements, such as managing material changes, qualifying different materials, achieving cost savings, or participating in new product introductions
- Collect, analyze, and leverage data to implement improvements
- Enhance performance and optimize losses
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred)
- Experience in problem-solving and troubleshooting to identify root causes
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Adopt a 'learner mindset' - always eager to expand knowledge
- Readiness to work off-shift hours and adapt to varying work demands
- Background in engineering, including internships or co-op involvement
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making
- Project management background
- Willingness to travel for Factory Acceptance Tests (1-2 times per year, domestic or international)
