_Immediate Hire for Mig Welders_*Pay: 20-29
Hours: 1st shift hours: 6-2:30pm Monday-Friday
Description:*We are looking for motivated MIG welders to join the team on 1st shift in Davenport, Iowa
+ Perform all types of welding, cutting, and fabrication of steel parts in both a production and R&D environment.+ Work with formal drawings, sketches, or concept development while maintaining high safety standards.+ Capable of the fabrication and welding of both production and new product prototypes in a safe and effective manner through the effective use of tools, assembly equipment, fixtures & material handling equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Lift up to 75 lbs. if needed.+ Will have to work with various power and manual tools, including a torch, hammer, tape measure, and all welding tools of the trade.+ Must be able to handle extreme weather conditions as some products can be placed outside/in cold shop to work on.+ Responsible for building and testing new product prototypes, tooling, and fixtures.+ Design and test process improvements for increased performance and throughput in manufacturing.
