    Located in Leola, PA we are Dexco Racking, manufacturer of Dexco Structural Steel I-Beam Racking Systems. We are a well-established, successful, and growing metal fabrication company that has been in business since 1962. We engineer and manufacture structural steel racking systems to safely meet nearly any weight requirement. Our racks are ideal for storing industrial materials such as lumber, coils, dies, pipe tubing, bar stock, sheet metal and glass supporting loads ranging from 2,000 to 80,000 pounds.     Currently, we are undergoing a major $3.7M plant overhaul with updated lighting; new equipment; new lunch room and completely renovated men's and women's locker room spaces. Our specialty is Dexco Structural Steel I-Beam Racking Systems, where we are an industry leader in design and manufacturing.

    Our ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, preferably in metals manufacturing, and the desire to learn and grow.

    We are currently a skill weld fitter for 1st and 2nd shifts.

    We are a fast-paced metal fabricating facility and are looking for experienced MiG Welders to join our team.

    Requirements:

    Are you hardworking who likes meeting challenges and surpassing expectations? Your responsibilities will include:

    · Read and interpret prepared parts blueprints and measurements.

    · Layout, fit & weld parts per drawings and specifications. Check layout accuracy for other fabricators.

    · communicate issues in a timely manner.

    • quality verification and documentation of conformity to job specifications
    • maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

    To excel in this role, you should have:

    • the ability to read a tape measure
    • basic math
    • understand weld symbols
    • interpret blueprints and follow work instructions to accurately
    • complete assigned welding tasks
    • attention to detail
    • positive attitude to be part of the solution when problems arise

    The successful candidate will also be punctual, meet company attendance policies, and have the ability to work in a constant state of alertness, following policies & processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times ensuring safety precautions are observed.

    Schedule:

    • 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm; Monday - Friday
    • 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm; Monday - Friday

    OT will be required as needed to meet production goals --- OCCASSIONALLY MANDATORY.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
    • A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred
    • Proven experience as a welder/fitter or similar role
    • Able to proficiently use a tape measure
    • Excellent knowledge of welding machinery and manual tools
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs and understand welding symbols
    • Ability to build fittings and fixtures
    • AWS D1.1 highly desirable or the ability to pass the certification test
    • Outstanding attention to detail

    ($1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift)

    Paid weekly; Payday is on Thursday's
