Who You Are:


Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Warehouse Associate position is to receive, store, and distribute products within the warehouse.

This includes inspecting inventory for damaged or defective goods, labeling and organizing items, preparing orders for shipment, and managing inventory.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Receive and check incoming shipments to ensure the accuracy of orders.
  • Load, unload, pick, and stock products in the warehouse.
  • Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and other Warehouse Associates to ensure tasks and responsibilities are done efficiently and on time.
  • Follow safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure the warehouse is adequately cleaned and maintained daily.
  • Clean up garbage in the aisles and around the warehouse. Fill the garbage dumpster before weekly pickup.
  • Cut cardboard and fill up the cardboard container before weekly pickup.
  • Ensure products are always in a bin and not loose.
  • Organize bins and sections by product, style, and size.
  • Label every bin with what products are inside.
  • Manage and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the warehouse.

Requirements and Skills

  • Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products
  • Team player with organizational skills

Additional Information:


  • Full-Time
  • Hours: 9am5:30pm, Monday-Friday
  • Overtime is expected when necessary.
  • Location: Plainview, NY

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
