- Ensure compliance with company policies, especially regarding work safety standards
- Supervise the sales team, set goals, and communicate strategies
- Respond to client inquiries, conduct property tours, and promote facilities
- Develop selling strategies to exceed revenue goals and analyze market trends
- Manage RFP process, negotiate rates, and maintain corporate accounts
- Oversee revenue management and forecasts, and drive profitability
- Train and motivate sales team, develop new accounts, and maintain client relationships
- Create sales plans and programs to boost occupancy and revenue
- Identify and solve operational issues affecting sales performance
- Promote the hotel at events, conventions, and through media
- Coordinate city contacts to enhance hotel exposure and generate business
- Work with advertising agencies to maximize advertising investments
- Attend trade shows to promote the hotel and increase sales
- Encourage teamwork and quality service across departments
- Perform other assigned duties
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in sales and revenue management
- Strong supervisory and negotiation skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Delphi, and Opera systems
- Excellent communication and mathematical skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Perform physical tasks around the facilities
- Consistent use of keyboards for various tasks
