    Addison Group is thrilled to support the search for an Accounts Receivable/Deductions Specialist to join the dynamic team of a growing manufacturing client in St.

    Louis Park, MN.

    As our client's team expands, they are seeking a committed and seasoned AR professional to process full cycle accounts receivable with a large emphasis on deductions and researching invoice discrepancies.


    The ideal candidate will possess prior experience and expertise with, Maintaining the AR aging report, experience with applying and investigating deductions/discounts, auditing and resolving invoice discrepancies, conducting complex reconciliations, facilitating vendor communication, and more.

    This is an on-site role based in St. Louis Park, MN, and is exclusively available to local residents of Minnesota or Western Wisconsin. This is a full-time, on-site position with compensation of up to $31.25/hr, dependent on applicable experience.

    Responsibilities:

    Manage Deductions
    Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    Manage the AR aging report, monitoring outstanding balances and collections.
    Process and apply payments received from various sources including cash, credit, checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
    Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
    Research and resolve payment discrepancies and issues, including the write-off of bad debt.
    Utilize accounting software (e.g., Sage, IFS SmartCare Legacy) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
    Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address billing inquiries and disputes.
    Develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable process and maximize cash flow.
    Train and mentor team members on accounts receivable procedures and best practices.
    Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
