Job Summary
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patient appointments in appropriate clinic(s) and to ensure thorough and complete information is obtained to facilitate the registration process.
Pay Range
Minimum $19.54 Midpoint $25.90 Maximum $32.2- Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required: Minimum six (6) months of front office experience.
- Preferred: One (1) year of experience as a Medical Office Assistant using scheduling software.
- Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
- Preferred: Some post High School education, to include Medical Office courses.
- Required: None required.
- Required: Strong skills in using Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point). Ability to handle interruptions in worktasks due to greeting people and answering a small multiphone line. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Strong organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problemsolving skills.
- Preferred: Strong knowledge of scheduling software products. Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Required: None required.
Work Environments - Functional Demand:
Sedentary - Very light energy level Lift 10 lbs. box overhead. Lift and carry 15 lbs. Push/pull 20 lbs. cart.
