Responsibilities:


  • Assist Jamaican clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Respect and honor Jamaican cultural traditions, customs, and preferences in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
  • Document client observations, activities, and progress accurately and timely.

Requirements:


  • Must be of Jamaican descent or have a deep understanding and appreciation of Jamaican culture, traditions, and customs.
  • Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and patientcentered approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation (if applicable).
