Certified Peer Specialist at Behavioral Health Network

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Emergency Services and Support program with the following:

  • Supporting Master's level clinicians in both community-based locations and mobile intervention services.
  • Providing support to individuals served and families.
  • Educating individuals served and families about the assessment/intervention process.
  • Assisting in aiding individuals served and families during the transition to followup services.
  • Providing these services at the communitybased location, during mobile intervention, and on the adult CCS.

What are we looking for in a Certified Peer Specialist?

  • High School Diploma or GED (
    required).
  • Must have completed the Peer Specialist certification training and pass the exam to become a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS.) prior to employment.
  • Knowledge of delivery systems, organizational skills, understanding crisis intervention.
  • Must have reliable transportation during each shift to provide communitybased services.
  • Must be an adult who has utilized mental health services and is in recovery from mental illness and believes in the Recovery Oriented Model of care
