Certified Peer Specialist at Behavioral Health Network

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Emergency Services and Support program with the following:

Supporting Master's level clinicians in both community-based locations and mobile intervention services.
Providing support to individuals served and families.
Educating individuals served and families about the assessment/intervention process.
Assisting in aiding individuals served and families during the transition to followup services.
Providing these services at the communitybased location, during mobile intervention, and on the adult CCS.

What are we looking for in a Certified Peer Specialist?

High School Diploma or GED (
required).
Must have completed the Peer Specialist certification training and pass the exam to become a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS.) prior to employment.
Knowledge of delivery systems, organizational skills, understanding crisis intervention.
Must have reliable transportation during each shift to provide communitybased services.
Must be an adult who has utilized mental health services and is in recovery from mental illness and believes in the Recovery Oriented Model of care
