Position Summary


The Service coordinator position is responsible for managing repair tickets, coordinating with technicians and subcontractors, remote troubleshooting and assistance, recording information accurately and follow up with customers regarding the resolution of the repair ticket.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with Service Manager to coordinate the activities of the Service department.
  • Serve as the liaison between Service, Sales, and the customer.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service issues and concerns
  • Dispatch techs and contractors to customer locations
  • Regularly monitor reports on open service issues and ensure resolution
  • Schedule technicians
  • Initiate and follow up on quotes for customers
  • This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned

Ad-Hoc Work

  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time including, but not limited to, the monitoring of fixed and mobile sites

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of access control/alarm equipment, sound and communication, CCTV systems (analog and IP), computer network systems
  • Network troubleshooting experience required.

  • At least 2 years of experience in networking, IP schemes, WAN/LAN design.
