Job Summary:

A Pipe Foreman is responsible for supervising and managing all activities related to pipe installation, maintenance, and repair on construction projects.

They work closely with construction crews, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that pipe work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project plans and specifications.


  • This role is NOT a Pipe Fitting Foreman position. Pipe Laying experience is required.

Responsibilities:1. Project Planning and preparation**:


  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand pipe system requirements
  • Develop a concrete construction plan, including scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment needs
  • Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and scheduled

Supervision and Leadership:


  • Lead and manage pipe installation crews
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to workers to ensure tasks are performed safely and accurately
  • Monitor work progress and productivity, adjusting as needed to meet project deadlines

Quality Control:


  • Ensure that piping systems are installed according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Conduct inspections to check for proper alignment, connections, and leakages
  • Address any defects or issues promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken

Safety Compliance:


  • Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including proper storage of materials and tools

Communication:


  • Maintain open and effective communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Report project progress, challenges, and deviations from the plan to higher management
  • Address any issues or conflicts that may arise among crew members
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
  • Drivers License required
  • Extensive experience in pipe installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Strong knowledge of pipe systems, including various materials, sizes, and connection methods
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions

Salary:
$ $40.00 per hour
