    Accounting Manager

    Columbus, OH

    Our client, a leading property management company, is renowned for delivering exceptional services to property owners and tenants. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation, they have established themselves as a trusted industry leader. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their finance team and manage the accounting operations effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
    • Maintain and oversee all accounting processes and functions ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
    • Supervise, guide, and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Coordinate and assist with the annual budget preparation and financial forecasting.
    • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local accounting and financial regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
    • Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance role, with a track record of managing an accounting team.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
