Master Thesis:
Quantum-Secure Aerospace Environments in Unicoi, TN
We are seeking a Master's student (d/f/m) to join our IT Platforms Department in Friedrichshafen.


Responsibilities:


The main objective of this internship is to enhance the security concepts and models used in the aerospace industry, where quantum-secure channels are necessary to protect against dynamic networks and high performance and security demands.

These quantum-secure channels include post-quantum cryptography and quantum cryptography.

The tasks involved in this position include identifying and modeling different quantum-secure channels, validating the design method, developing optimization methods to explore the wide design space, and analyzing and evaluating Airbus case studies with quantum-secure communication.


Qualifications:


  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Space Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Enrolled in a European Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Space Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of data science, development, and programming
  • Familiarity with machine/deep learning frameworks
  • Understanding of quantumsecure communication
  • Experience with data exploration and interpretation
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python)
  • Familiarity with complex software environments and development frameworks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Experience in the following areas is considered a plus:
