General Responsibilities:


The Clinical Program Manager will oversee the Ryan White and Family Planning Programs and will provide oversight and guidance to the clinical leadership to ensure compliance and execution of the programs.

This position will also be assigned to other grants, programs, projects as needed. They will collaborate closely with leaders across the organization to ensure seamless integration of their assigned programs.

The Clinical Program Manager will need to coordinate with program staff and providers, who are embedded within the clinic, to ensure the delivery of program services are aligned with regulatory guidelines.


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications**:

  • BA/BS in a clinical/healthcare or related field required. Relevant industry specific experience considered in lieu of college degree where possible.
  • Two or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a health care environment.
  • Experience with program management experience, and involvement with complex programs required.
  • Knowledge of federal, state grant writing and reporting, including budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Clinical/ambulatory care setting preferred.
  • FQHC experience preferred.
  • Experience in clinical quality performance improvement preferred.

Skills, Abilities and Desired Competencies:


  • Demonstrated proficiency and comfort with technology and ability to use MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the HIV community including provider resources and agencies, interest in HIV community service, and selfmotivated to remain fluent with all aspects of HIV medicine, practice, and policy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of family planning interventions across impacted communities
  • Personal initiative and the ability to lead people, along with exceptional and demonstrated relationship building and personal interaction skills with individuals in diverse educational and professional roles.
  • Selfdirected learner who enthusiastically seeks ways to improve patient care and motivates others to participate in improvement activities, plus ability to make compelling, cogent presentations on complex topics and effectively facilitate a meeting.
  • Proficient in planning, implementation, administration, and communication of complex largescale projects with multiple levels of stakeholders, and multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks effectively within a compressed timeframe

Significant Job Functions:


  • Responsible for clinical quality programs and performance improvement projects, both those generated internally and those conducted in collaboration with external organizations, including oversight of all core's clinical quality measure specifications and requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of grant activities for the Ryan White and Title X Family Planning Programs, including interpreting federal grant guidelines to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Perform management functions for other programs, grants, and accreditations as assigned.
  • Accountable for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination, and integration of relevant assigned programs. Assure the implementation of overall program goals and objectives, the timely submission of reports/data, and required remediation to assure program goals and objectives are met. Seek and implement opportunities for the advancement and expansion of assigned programs.
  • Collaborate with fiscal grant management to ensure budget responsibilities are being met.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to establish quality goals, objectives, and strategies for the Ryan White and Title X programs, to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Keep all stakeholders up to date on program issues, patient issues, new program development, and program progress, including successes and challenges.
  • Ensure that services supported with grant funds fall within the legislatively defined range of services for the specified program.
