HSB

Event and administrative support:
daily maintenance of CRM database with detailed information about authors, sponsors, and events; create and update event itineraries; book author travel; assist with invoicing, outstanding payments, and travel reimbursement; coordinate calls with authors and events and schedule internal meetings as necessary


COMMUNICATIONS

Book donations:
process book donations and monetary donation invoices.


Bookends (HBG Intranet): admin support for content refreshes; create graphic banners for Bookends homepage carousel; update Company Calendar to add holidays, major meetings, sales + focus meetings.


Tracking:

NYT, USA TODAY, and ABA bestsellers for weekly recap; write news items for weekly Big News roundup (bestseller recaps, awards, tv/movie news, industry news).


Administrative support:
schedule meetings, handle expense reports.


Additional projects:
provide communications support for Sustainability and office culture in-house programs; create digital signage for in-house display screens.


Skills:


  • Exceptionally detailoriented and organized
  • Agile and accurate when handling simultaneous timesensitive projects
  • A proactive selfstarter with excellent followthrough skills
  • Concise, professional, and expeditious in handling written and verbal correspondence
  • Curious, driven, and excited to learn about HSB with an eye towards growth in this unique space within the publishing business
  • Experienced with Canva, Powerpoint, Excel, MailChimp, social media, Wordpress, and website management

The compensation range for this position is $47,500.
