Description

Superior Plus Propane has a career opportunity for a Logistics Specialist within the Maine region. As a Logistics Specialist, you will work closely with field operations to improve efficiencies with service calls.

JOB DUTIES:

Dispatch all service work
Attend the service board and adjust as emergencies come in
Schedule all digsafe calls
Schedule fleet maintenance
Cover for Parts room (when parts person is on vacation dispatch does both jobs )
Attend to customers at our onsite LP tank refill station
Work with our subcontractors for schedules and ongoing work
Work will sales for scheduled jobs
Perform additional duties as needed

SKILLS:

Ability to develop, communicate, and execute detailed work plans that support operational improvements.
Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and consistently meet tight deadlines

Qualifications and Education Requirements
years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or route planning preferred

Knowledge of logistics routing programs
Ability to assign work and communicate effectively with techs and managers
Work in a fastpaced customer service organization, meet deadlines, constructively resolve issues
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel and database skills

Work shifts can vary during winter months to meet increased customer activities and needs
Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings
