    Salary:
    $14/hr.


    SCOPE:

    Welcomes all incoming patients / guests to the Cancer Center as they arrive in the patient drop off area while maintaining a steady flow of traffic.

    Assesses the reason for the visit, communicates to other Guest Services team, and delivers to a Transporter / Receptionist. Responsible for assisting patient upon exit of the Cancer Center.


    FUNCTIONS:

    • Greets all incoming patients & guests in a personable & welcoming manner and assists as they are exiting
    • Obtain accurate patient information to relay to Guest Services team
    • Maintaining steady flow to avoid unnecessary wait for guests
    • Transports Patients to their appointments
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Experience in a medical facility assisting patients required

    Customer Service experience preferred

    Ability to lift 200lbs.

    Excellent verbal communication skills.

    Ability to work outdoors/adjust to climate changes

    High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

    Ability to think independently, anticipate needs and take initiative.
