- Understand customer requirements to develop solutions
- Understand and participate in achieving Operation sales goals with the group
- Lead the preplanning effort including shop drawings, value engineering, prefabrication, mobilization and material handling
- Carry out all major tasks and/or assignments associated with designated construction projects including: job setup, budget input, budget formulation and budget management; work closely with Project Engineer
- Review contract documents, contract drawings, specifications, codes, addendums, and estimates for completeness and clarity; define the scope of the project
- Jointly, with the field managers, establish objectives and provide overall direction of each project along with acting as liaisons between client operations, sales, and engineering
- Conduct ongoing reviews and update of short interval goals throughout the course of the project
- Monitor the purchase of all major equipment for each job and oversee purchase of materials to ensure budgets are on track
- Update and distribute job schedules and manpower requirements with the input of field managers
- Submit specification and documentation of equipment purchased to general contractor with copies to all involved parties
- Coordinate all subcontractor drawings, submittals, billings, and insurance documents
- Act as liaison between customers and client, including during the warranty year
- Fulfill all project manager duties related to safety management and the promotion of safety standards as specified in the safety policy, including applying for all necessary permits and inspections
- Prepare AIA schedule of values
- Prepare billing projections and billings and review and approve invoices for payment
- Estimate, negotiate and implement all changes in the scope of the project; coordinate and communicate with owner, general contractor and internal personnel, all cost and schedule impacts related to the change order
- Coordinate service start-up and temperature controls with field manager, service and/or field manager controls
- Plan, coordinate, implement performance verification / commissioning requirements
- Support the total quality effort. Identify and respond to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the timeYour credentials:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering and design/build background highly preferred (Equivalent work experience can be considered)
- (10+ years) construction background with years at a supervisory level
- Must be approved to drive per client's driving standards
- Ideally has solid background in healthcare and commercial HVAC construction project management

Job DescriptionOur client in Eagle, CO is adding to their PMO team with a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager. This individual will coordinate and manage all operations of assigned construction projects to include but not limited to sales turnover, engineering, virtual construction, owner/end user, general contractors, subcontractors and field managers. They will also make decisions in regards to job changes and communicate these with upper management.
What you bring to the table:
The position is on location in or near Eagle, CO. Relocation options will be considered for the right candidate. Salary range for the position based on experience level and background $85,000 - $140,000.
