Business Analyst TS/SCI with Poly REQUIRED

Position Description

This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Translate client business problems into technical or functional system requirements

  • Provide direct user support (Tier 1/2 service desk)
  • Develop process improvement recommendations and facilitate quality improvement efforts
  • Advise and assist with strategic planning, policy and business analysis
  • Utilize the client's approved database to manage requirements in accordance with the client's Project Management Framework (PMF) and requirement management policies.
  • Analyze and document the requirements as stated in the Requests for Change (RFCs) and Discrepancy Reports (DRs) provided by the client.
  • Attend Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) as required to ensure a clear and complete understanding of customer requirements. Also be responsible for preparation of materials (RFCs, DRs, agendas, minutes, etc.)
  • Analyze the system requirements generated, and translate them into a structure of the products and services which comprise the entire work effort.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Willingness to learn, the aptitude to research problems, and the wisdom to know when to ask for help

  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and prioritize work assignments after learning the ropes
  • Comfort to establish communication with government personnel and team members when needed
  • Eye for detail and willingness to provide feedback to team management on improvement opportunities
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly required

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Bachelor's degree

  • Experience supporting or using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Experience working with federal finance, accounting, or information systems
  • Understanding or experience with database management systems (Relational Database, Access, or other means of storing large datasets)
  • Familiarity with any fundamental software design & engineering tasks (breaking down large tasks into achievable chunks, problem solving, identifying areas to improve for design, or programming)


CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications.

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85, $209,100.00.
