The Leipzig Housing and Construction Company (LWB) is one of the largest municipal housing companies in Germany with over apartments and around 500 employees. In addition to managing and administering our portfolio, we will also be carrying out extensive renovation and new construction projects in the coming years. Leipzig, one of the most dynamic and attractive cities, is growing and we are growing with it. Therefore, we are currently looking for a Specialist Engineer for Heating/Ventilation/Sanitation (m/f/d) / Employee (m/f/d) for Building Technology to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying the need for inspections, maintenance, renewal, and upkeep in the relevant field and developing corresponding guidelines.
  • Recording and managing all data related to building technology systems in their area of expertise.
  • Developing and updating maintenance contracts, initiating new contract tenders, and managing contracts.
  • Evaluating maintenance reports, communicating necessary actions, and monitoring the resolution of issues.
  • Managing the conversion from gas supply to district heating, including contract management, coordination with planning offices, and negotiations with district heating providers.
  • Commissioning, processing, and monitoring all inspections by the Technical Inspection Association (ZÜS) as well as safety assessments according to the BetrSichV, communicating necessary actions, and monitoring the resolution of issues.
