Description

The municipality of Gettorf is looking for a qualified wastewater technician (m/f/d) to join our team immediately or at a later date. This is a full-time, permanent position (39 hours per week).

Located in the heart of the Dänischer Wohld region between the North Sea-Baltic Canal, Eckernförde Bay, and Kiel Fjord, the municipality of Gettorf is home to approximately 7,600 residents and is in close proximity to the Baltic Sea beaches.

Within the municipality, we operate a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of EW, a central sludge treatment facility, and 15 RRB and 12 pumping stations. The biological treatment stage was completely renovated in 2018.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Operating, maintaining, and repairing the wastewater treatment plant
Monitoring and controlling the individual wastewater treatment processes
Maintaining and monitoring the sewer network and pumping stations
Participating in on-call duty outside of regular working hours, including weekends and holidays
