    Description
    CLAAS Resident Technicians support customers with complex on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks (field and customer shop). This role provides expert level customer service to ensure the highest degree of customer experience and satisfaction. The position acts autonomously within company guardrails with an entrepreneurial spirit and represents the CLAAS brand as an ambassador. All Resident Technicians will be provided with fully-equipped service trucks.

    Responsible for performing complex on-site diagnostics, service, repairs, and maintenance work on customer CLAAS equipment; Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly to the customer and documents on work order.

    May establish and implement effective stocking processes with the Parts Department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory.
    Maintains current mechanical and technical knowledge of CLAAS and competitive products.
    Including accounting for time and material used in performing assigned duties.
    Adheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times.


    Note:

    This position includes frequent travel by auto; Position may require overnight travel and weekend or evening work during peak seasons.

    3+ years' experience in a field service technician / engineering role working on agricultural equipment.

    Working knowledge of CLAAS equipment and parts, a plus.ability to make sound recommendations on service and maintenance work for CLAAS equipment.

    Ability to read and interpret parts and machine schematics.
    Ability to travel within region and to be able to work with limited supervision.
