A day as a Pastry Helper:

Assist pastry production team, chefs, and cooks with mixing pastry products
Help with the creation of fruit salad, pastries and other baked items, measuring ingredients, kneading dough, taking items in and out of the oven, and placing products on cooling racks
Help Chefs, prepare ingredients and clean kitchens
Work in different station such as (Fruit cutting station, economy packing station, juice station, basket station, assembling and plating food etc.)
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Upkeep and maintain food safety

Ability to manage through a substantial workload
Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
Flexibility (different shifts days, nights, weekends, holidays)
