Cases_**You will be one of two Medical Assistants helping with outpatient interventional radiology procedures.
- Done in an office setting
- Minimally invasive procedures on awake patients with fluoro imaging.
- Patients go through standard preop checks/questions, then are taken to a procedure room for a 12 hour procedure and are then watched in postop for about 30 minutes.
- One MA is in preop/postop, and one is in the procedure room. MAs may rotate through both positions.
- 46 cases/day; one day/week
Qualifications
- Experience working in a procedural setting.
- Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied tasks: charting, checking vitals, talking with patients, opening sterile supplies in the procedure room, and keeping up with changing tasks and needs of the situation.
- Comfortable taking ownership of your tasks and being able to understand what's going on with the team and pitching in wherever needed.
- Valid and Current Medical Assistant Certification

- 1 day per week 8am5pm
