Job Description

To strengthen our team in Hamburg, we are looking for an Operations Officer Oceanfreight - for the Export and Import departments (m/f/d).

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Processing transport orders, from receipt of order / retrieval to invoicing / cost control according to company guidelines
Maintaining customer, supplier, and partner information in the forwarding system
Checking the order for completeness and coherence (Incoterms, mode of transport, purchasing/sales conditions, special requirements, etc.)
Handling documentation, maintaining and exchanging relevant data with customers, suppliers, and partners; customs clearance export/import
Bookkeeping in terms of costs and benefits in the TMS
Processing invoice complaints preparing damage processing and handing over to the appropriate internal and external departments
