We are looking for a committed, caring, and reliable
Director of Rehab, DOR to join our in-house rehab team for our Skilled Nursing Facility

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Are you passionate about leading and empowering a team of rehabilitation professionals to provide exceptional care? We are currently seeking a friendly and skilled Director of Rehab to join our team.

As the Director of Rehab, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients by overseeing and coordinating our comprehensive rehabilitation programs.


  • Lead and manage a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs to support patients' recovery and enhance their quality of life.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements related to rehabilitation services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the rehabilitation team, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop interdisciplinary treatment plans for patients.
  • Review and analyze patient records to ensure accurate documentation and coding for billing purposes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the delivery of rehabilitation services.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in rehabilitation therapy, and ensure their implementation within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Degree in Rehabilitation Services or related field.
  • Current and active license in Occupational Therapy
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation therapy techniques, assessment tools, and treatment protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and patientcentered care.

EXPERIENCE:


  • With Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience is preferred
  • Experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
  • Similar leadership roles in a healthcare setting are welcome
