JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and assist personnel to complete tasks and ensure all team member are utilized
  • Ensure paperwork is completely thoroughly and accurately before being submitted for processing
  • Responsible for keeping supervisor/manager informed on all pertinent employee issues (attendance, performance, etc.)
  • Train new employees on all pertinent work instructions, procedures, forms, and safety rules and assist with employee performance evaluations
  • Nurture a culture that's team oriented, employees are valued, trust and accountable. Employees are working towards the same goal with focus on collective results.
  • Must ensure that company policies and procedures are enforced, and always adhered to
  • Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Provide daily updates to Manager and production team on jacketing schedule
  • Ensure completion of all paperwork at the run's completion
  • Assign daily duties to the jacketing & Hydro team
  • Communicate mechanical and electrical problems to the maintenance department.
  • Ability to perform all tasks on the jacketing lines from Utility 2, and Pipe Machine Operator 6
  • Work closely with Yard team to ensure efficiencies
  • Communicates with Inventory Coordinator on spool quantities for particular jobs
  • Enters and review employee timesheets into Kronos system
  • Collaborates with Composite Dept with regards to NCR
  • Enters job info into ERP system
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Will have to make NCR's and enter in log
  • In charge of conducting all cycle counts.
  • Overseeing the coiling machine system for pipe.
  • Help purchasing with Work instructions.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of equipment and materials Responsible to ensure a safe work environment for employees; ensure any incidents are reported to HSE and department leadership immediately

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • More than 3 years' experience as a Team Leader (Pipe Machine Operator 6)
  • Fills in as a Rigger when required Jacketing spool changeouts
  • Proficient at programming both printers
  • Capable of removing and replacing extrusion screw
  • Capable of changing out die tooling
  • Ability to start line, tieoff pipe to takeup spool
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
  • Teamwork is necessary.
  • Clear and concise communicator (written and verbal).
  • Detailoriented and organized.
  • Practice good housekeeping by maintaining a clean work area. Able to stand for long periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.

Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes, and hardhats.

Company uniforms must be worn at all times.

High school diploma or equivalent
