- Attend clinic and intake to provide skilled nursing care. Evaluates and adjusts care plans. Coordinate other referral appointments for medical and diagnostic care. Educate patients and monitor their compliance with treatments regimens.
- Coordination of care with service providers and clinical case managers to meet clinical needs. Identification of client needs, assess status of functional, psychological, social, environmental, & financial of the clients.
- Responsible for ensuring patients meet standards of HAB (HIV/AIDS Bureau) Measures.
- Follow the lead of and report to Clinical Coordinator & Nurse Manager to ensure quality care on assigned clinical team.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation to support the reporting requirements for both nursing and administrative review.
- Participate in quality assurance review and assessment as requested and/or mandated by federal or institutional directive.
- Perform all other job-related duties and responsibilities as required.

The Medical College of Georgia is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 260 students per class.
The educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state and a second four-year campus in Athens in partnership with the University of Georgia.
MCG's expanding partnerships with physicians and hospitals across Georgia currently provides about 350 sites where students can experience the full spectrum of medicine, from complex care hospitals to small-town solo practices.
MCG and its teaching hospitals also provide postgraduate education to more than 500 residents and fellows in 50 different Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-approved programs.
Our researchers and clinicians focus on what most impacts the health of Georgia's and America's children and adults, including cardiovascular biology and disease, cancer, neurosciences and behavioral sciences, public and preventive health, regenerative and reparative medicine, personalized medicine and genomics.

The Staff Nurse provides skilled nursing care for both the routine primary care and specialized care needs of patients served by the AU Ryan White Program.
This position is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and coordinating the service needs of the patients as provided by Infectious Disease and other providers both at AU Health and in the community.
This position works with management and physician leaders to identify and comply with quality assurance criteria in the provision of care as specified by federal and institutional mandates.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university, active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
