**Job Responsibilities:
Duties include the following:
- Own the royalties management platform with sole accountability for ensuring business requirements are met, governance is established, platform is maintained, documentation developed and kept updated, and end users are trained;
- Manage the platforms, processes, and internal stakeholders (legal, business development, finance, research, product management, and executive team) for systems related to licensing payments and business development within highly regulated environments;
- Partner with Information Technology ("IT"), ERP process leads, business development directors, and product management to ensure contract compliance;
- Provide stakeholders with educational materials and training tools to facilitate platform operations and improve workflow processes;
- Perform root cause analysis of incidents and prepare remediation and strategic direction for future capabilities;
- Liaise between operational groups for information sharing and standardization to better define platform lifecycle schedules and standards;
- Lead and support managers responsible for the partner relationship management system and business development data integrity;
- Align business development operational long/shortterm strategy with stakeholders, and develop and execute roadmap while maintaining budgetary objectives;
- Develop the business case for significant investments related to business development operations;
- Ensure defined Key Performance Indicators ("KPIs") met during regular reporting meetings with leadership; and
Employer requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field and six (6) years of progressively more responsible work experience in a senior level role as a program manager for salable software products, a software product manager, or a closely related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and six (6) years of progressively more responsible work experience in a senior level role as a business analyst or a closely related occupation.
In addition, the employer requires the following:
- Demonstrated ability managing royalty platforms or products within regulated environments, ensuring business requirements are met, governance is established, the platform is maintained and documented, and end users are trained, gained through one (1) year of experience;
- Demonstrated ability partnering with Information Technology (IT), ERP process leads, business development directors, and product management to ensure contract compliance, particularly in complex systems like SAP gained through three (3) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated ability performing root cause analysis of incidents and preparing remediation and strategic direction for future capabilities, especially in systems deeply integrated with other functions such as accounting, legal, and product management gained through five (5) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated ability developing product strategy, including feature roadmap development, market analysis, market validation, and value chain analysis, with an emphasis on royalties value extraction gained through one (1) year of work experience; and
Demonstrated understanding of royalties management, with familiarity in contracting language and complex licensing deal structures gained through one (1) year of work experience.
15% domestic travel and 5% international travel.
