POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answering the primary Service Delivery Queue in a timely fashion.
  • Entering tickets into the Service Desk.
  • Understands the Service Level Agreements between the operations group and customers.
  • Triages incidents entered into the Service Desk Application effectively; escalating and reassigning tickets to other members of the Service Delivery Team if there is not a solution available.
  • Ensures issues are resolved within our service level agreements and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Maintains a first contact resolution of 80% for issues that pertain to IT services.
  • Documents new problems and solutions and communicates with coworkers.
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED. One or more years of experience in a help desk/desktop support role or equivalent experience in a Healthcare environment preferred. A+ certification or other Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results
  • Highly motivated with great organizational skills
  • Demonstrates appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of work settings
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and presentation software
  • Demonstrates a results orientation for delivering appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashion
  • Must be skilled in written and verbal communications, requiring the ability to read and write effectively and efficiently
