This includes review of technical ceramic estimates ensuring quality and precision throughout the ceramic installation process, in order to improve the quality and efficiency of installations.

Here is what you can expect in your role - also known as responsibilities:

  • Schedule ceramic installation jobs; provide installation date, review scope of job and set expectations directly with customer. Assign appropriate sub-contractor to the job ensuring appropriate sub for jobs
  • Communicate potential issues discovered during job review with estimators and sales team as needed to ensure that current and future jobs are estimated and executed properly
  • Coordinate scheduling of jobs for Pro Partners based on the PP individualized scheduling process and preferences
  • Assist Installation Sales with pricing and scope of work and serve as a contact on complex ceramic jobs
  • Work with the Claims Department providing direction and/or aid to resolve complex/technical job site issues. Inspect claim sites as needed
  • Provide Installation Sales and/or Regional Ceramic Installation Manager with timely information when concerns arise on job paperwork or corresponding orders
  • Assist in solving any problems related to the installation of material in a timely manner
  • Respond to customer complaints routed through the Customer Support Department along with field manager
  • Assist Regional Ceramic Installation Manager to recruit subcontractors
  • Interact daily with Store Management, Installation Sales, Sales Consultants and warehouse staff members to ensure proper and efficient installation for customers.
  • Participate in installation conference calls and participate as needed in weekly sales meetings.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Demonstrate math skills needed for installation and building process
  • 5 years of ceramic installation experience is required
  • Able to work a rotating Saturday schedule (8 a.m. 12 Noon)
  • Able to consistently demonstrate Avalon's values and 51% characteristics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues and customers
  • Able to identify and solve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, and develop alternative solutions

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or communicate. The employee is frequently required to stand; move; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 80 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
