Description

Responsibilities _(this is an overview of the position; responsibilities are not limited to the following)_

  • Admissions_
  • Serve as the primary support for nationwide travel to execute Admissionsrelated events during recruiting season running from September
  • January
  • Assist with planning and execution of admission events; inclusive of inperson and virtual nationwide events and school visits
  • Outreach to new schools and organizations to extend general admission reach
  • Send and receive admissions mail; inclusive of mailing out marketing materials
  • Alongside Alumni Relations Manager, strategize ways to incorporate program alumni during the admissions season
  • General support, when necessary, for onisland and stateside events throughout the year (Family Weekend, Conferences, Board Meetings, Reunions, other Island School programming, etc.)
  • Alumni & Development_
  • Collecting and updating alumni information
  • General database maintenance and support
  • Engage alumni students and families to participate in the Admissions Ambassador program
  • Communications & Office Support_
  • Support family communications during the enrollment period

Skills & Qualifications

  • A university degree and/or an equivalent combination of education
  • A valid passport and ability to travel frequently throughout the United States and The Bahamas
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage with age groups ranging from high school students and up
  • Comfortable with public speaking in front of age groups ranging from high school students and up
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to accommodate delegated tasks
  • Values and successfully navigates both independent projects and group collaborations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, MailChimp
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred
