Job Brief:

Patient Service Rep.


The Patient Service Technician is responsible for validating patient pre-registration, assisting patients with on-site registration and initial assessment for the Washington Island Clinic.

They will may assist in rooming patients, supporting the clinician, and any onsite laboratory testing. The Patient Service Technician provides support by guiding patients/families to the appropriate level of care. May assist patients with scheduling or provide guidance on the DCMC portal. Performs additional clerical/registration/insurance duties as needed.


Education Required :
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)


Related Years of Experience Required:
Six months related healthcare experience; Medical Terminology course preferred without limited experience; Billing and Insurance experience preferred.


Shift:
Working Casual Call, meaning you work as needed, Monday - Friday.
