We are currently seeking an Activities Director (Nexus Program Director) who is passionate about making a difference for our Beach Cities

The non-negotiables:


  • A bachelor's degree is required; master's degree preferred
  • 1 year of supervisory experience, including performance management, collaboration, and conflict resolution
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance

What you'll be doing:


  • Oversee the Nexus program, a unique and innovative concept in memory care, supporting an active, brainhealthy lifestyle for individuals living with the early stages of dementia. The Nexus Neighborhood program combines Silverado's development, partnering with all departments within the community, to implement, develop, and deliver resident programs. It will also include managing the budget and spending
  • Supporting the branding, sales and marketing of the Nexus Neighborhood. This may include conducting inservices on various topics related to dementia and Nexus
  • Conduct or comarket on sales calls with professionals including physicians, geriatric care managers, etc
  • Ensure seamless team management and development
