- Responsibilities
- The assessment of and treatment of patients wounds and understanding the etiology of wounds. NP spends 90% of time in outpatient treatment and 10% inpatient.
- Share in the supervision of HBOT patients equally with other APPs on the Wound Care team.
- The knowledge of wound care principles, appropriate wound dressing techniques and the prescribing of medications.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses and therapists in an inpatient setting, to ensure comprehensive inpatient care.
- Effective coordination and communication with colleagues creating a teamwork approach to patient care.
- Clear communication with patients and their families regarding wound care instructions.
- Ability to educate patients on proper wound care at home.

- Salary range of $114,600-$123,000 depending on experience.

- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
- Master's degree from an accredited program.
- New grads are welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
