    Job Summary

    We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Houston, TX. This role involves overseeing and leading computer-related activities within the organization. The Senior Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in determining and implementing IT systems to meet the organization's needs and enhance its technology strategy and security program.

    Responsibilities

    • Leading major IT projects for the design and deployment of new systems and services
    • Managing the IT infrastructure and support function
    • Analyzing business requirements and developing IT solutions
    • Implementing and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
    • Defining strategic plans for IT implementation
    • Aligning goals with client objectives
    • Maintaining quality service and organization standards
    • Implementing disaster recovery and security procedures
    • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
    • Ensuring information security and compliance
    • Serving as the IT Security POC

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    Strong knowledge of computer systems, network administration, and security

    Experience with Azure AD, Conditional policies, and other key technologies

    Proficiency in EDRs, Backup systems, and Microsoft security centers

    Excellent project management and critical thinking skills

    Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and communicate efficiently

    Expertise in IT best practices and operations

    Effective verbal and written communication skills

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other applications

    Demonstrated leadership and collaboration abilities

    Adaptability to high-paced and changing environments

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in IT or related field

    2-5 years of IT operations experience

    Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365 and IT project management

    Experience in cybersecurity program management
