Position Summary:


The Regional Security Lead will support the West Retail of the business, and the Consumer and Commercial lines of business.

The role is accountable for the management of security programs in support of several company Strategic Business Units (SBUs).


In the role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and secure working environment for teammates, vendors, and guests, and manages emerging incidents affecting these SBUs from workplace violence to burglary, technical security guidance, and coordination with other departments towards final implementation.


Responsibilities:


  • Manages delivery of security services to one or more BSUs and/or Staff Functions, ensuring alignment with overarching corporate and businessspecific objectives, riskbased, compliant with regulatory requirements, and consistent with benchmark of security programs and services at Fortune 500 companies.
  • Executes a comprehensive response to critical security incidents affecting teammate(s) and workplace(s), business operations, proprietary and confidential information, and the company's reputation.
  • Remains highly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
  • Tracks and reports on security program metrics and key performance indicators to the position's Supervisor, SER.
  • Acts as a liaison with local law enforcement, security vendors, and outside agencies, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Collaborates and make recommendations in executing strategies for company events in several regions. Provides advice to stakeholders prior to and during major events. Determines venue staffing levels and track costs against budgets. Provides onscene coordination of event security response/assistance. Creates and executes exercises to regularly test response protocols and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 working years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years experience in a corporate security, law enforcement, intelligence or private sector security organization.
  • Availability to travel up to 25%.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays in the case of an emergency.
