- 401 K Objectives of this role:
- Enforce quality objectives and procedures as required to ensure consistency and compliance throughout project.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of jobsite, materials, and workmanship to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and document quality issues, non-conformities, and areas for improvement, and work with project teams to develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and approve inspection and testing protocols.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on quality management principles, processes, and requirements.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors, regulatory agencies, and client representatives to facilitate inspections, approvals, and certifications.
- Participate in project meetings, including pre-construction and progress meetings, to address quality-related issues and provide updates on quality initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and as-built documentation, for project records and closeout
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management or quality assurance in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices, as well as relevant industry standards and codes.
- Experience developing and implementing quality management systems processes.
- Certification in quality management is preferred.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft, Compass, etc.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data and information.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Must have OSHA 30-hr Construction Industry certification (within 2 yrs.).
