- SCOPE OF POSITION
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide direct patient/resident care and supportive services to the nursing unit and healthcare provider team under registered nurse supervision. - Responsibilities include:
- Bedside patient/resident care
- Nursing assistant procedures
- Stocking supplies
- Maintaining equipment
- Transportation of patients/residents as necessary
- Basic computer skills for documentation of care & procedures performed
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (i.e. bathing, toileting, eating, dressing, grooming, etc.)
- Observing and reporting any issues to the nurse supervisor/charge nurse
- Performing blood pressure, heart rate, and other health parameter checks
- Completing necessary training and competencies
- Being flexible to change working area/service multiple times daily

Job Description
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required. In lieu of a diploma, confirmation of three years of experience in a hospital/medical setting. Individuals who are at least 17 years of age, in the senior year of high school, and within 6 months of graduation where a diploma is anticipated may be considered.
In behavioral health areas, phlebotomy training is required.
Valid and active CNA licensure in the appropriate state.
CPR certification required.
