Cultural Index Survey


Position Summary:

Responsible for answering inquiries and obtain information for general public, customer and visitors. Answer incoming telephone calls, screen and forward all call.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Must be able to handle high call volume.
  • Must have customer services skills.
  • Sitting (8 hours a day).
  • Key punching required.
  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish

Position Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Greet visitors entering Baldor, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct them to specific destinations.
  • Must ensure each visitor signs the GMP form.
  • Operate communication systems, such as telephone, switchboard and intercom.
  • Check daily the main calendar to ensure the whereabouts of staff.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as typing, accepting orders and sorting mail when needed.
  • Relay and route written and verbal messages.
  • Route emergency calls appropriately.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma
  • 12 years' experience as a receptionist
