Cultural Index Survey
Position Summary:
Responsible for answering inquiries and obtain information for general public, customer and visitors. Answer incoming telephone calls, screen and forward all call.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must be able to handle high call volume.
- Must have customer services skills.
- Sitting (8 hours a day).
- Key punching required.
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors entering Baldor, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct them to specific destinations.
- Must ensure each visitor signs the GMP form.
- Operate communication systems, such as telephone, switchboard and intercom.
- Check daily the main calendar to ensure the whereabouts of staff.
- Perform clerical duties, such as typing, accepting orders and sorting mail when needed.
- Relay and route written and verbal messages.
- Route emergency calls appropriately.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 12 years' experience as a receptionist
