Swing Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am

Pay rate:
$20-$23/hr.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Floor QA

  • Create inspection record template; pull samples, quality alerts, and all required documents for future jobs per production schedule in accordance with QMS procedures.
  • Provide quality support during job startups and perform 1st piece inspection and approval in a timely manner.
  • Perform inprocess sample inspections per inspection plans and record on inspection record.
  • Manage all part samples related to jobs running on the production floor; including pulling, creating, and returning to storage.
  • Document nonconforming products during inspection by opening NCR's per QMS procedures.
  • Provide support to production machine operators and production team members related to product quality questions.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all QA floor documentation at all points during production.
  • Provide support for customer specified SPC as required.
  • Clean room experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Final Audit

  • Perform AQL sample final inspections per inspection plan and in accordance with QMS procedure.
  • Perform AQL sample receiving inspections for all items used in the manufacturing of products in accordance with QMS procedure.
  • Ensure all incoming items used in manufacturing of products have certifications and those certifications are properly scanned and associated correctly for retrieval when required.
  • Create and accurately supply all certification of compliance documents as per customer requirements, including all appropriate material certifications or inspection data as required.
  • Ensure that all required final and receiving inspection records are complete and accurate in accordance with QMS procedures.
  • Backup and assist with floor inspections when workload permits or floor inspection team members are absent.
  • Backup and assist with secondary final inspections when workload permits or team members are absent.
  • Document nonconforming products during inspection by opening NCR's per QMS procedures.

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Quality Assurance or inspection role in a manufacturing environment
:


  • Capable of working independently with mínimal supervision and completing all required duties consistently.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to motivate others.
  • Able to make decisions when required.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Experienced in good manufacturing practices and quality initiatives and programs.

Some experience with QMS systems including ISO9001/ ISO13485/ AS9100
:


  • Ability to develop and maintain a team oriented work environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of injection molding processes.
  • Physically capable of frequently lifting boxes up to 30 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent pace in a fast moving production environment.
  • Experience with computers and computer software such as Microsoft Office or inspection related software.
  • Experience with engineering part drawings related to part geometry, dimensions & tolerances, drawing views, and interpretation of requirements.
  • Proficient use of handheld measuring instruments. Experience with micrometers, height gauges, calipers, indicators, and optical comparator.
  • Knowledge and interpretation skills regarding the principles of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
  • Working knowledge of inspecting techniques and testing procedures.
