Our Sterile Processing Technicians work behind the scenes of healthcare facilities in a fast-paced environment, impacting patient safety without being patient facing.

What You Will Do:

Reprocess surgical trays postsurgery; ensuring they are decontaminated, cleaned, inspected, sterilized, correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next case
Operate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic and drying cabinets
Participate in regular onsite training

Education Degree:

High School Diploma or GED

What You Need to Be Successful:

High School diploma or GED
2+ years of SPD experience with demonstrated proficiency in all SPD Technician responsibilities, including a solid proficiency and ability to work independently with all tray sets.
CRCST or CSPDT certification is required. Must also obtain CIS, CER/CFER, or STERIS Assessment certification within 12 months of hire.
Both certifications must be maintained annually.
Must maintain certification by completing 12 Continuing Education Credit Hours each year.
