Capstan Atlantic, an employee owned company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable clerk at our 270-employee, $50m manufacturing business in Wrentham, MA.
Capstan is a leading manufacturer of powder metal parts for the vehicle, truck, electronic, and industrial markets. The company offers excellent compensation and benefits and an excellent work environment in a modern growing facility.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following is a description of the duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk (not limited to the following):
A. Confirm quantities with Shipping Log - Generate invoices
C. Provide proof of delivery and invoice reprints upon customer request
D. Investigate debit memos/ short payments and customer disputes
E. Deposit cash electronically
F. Calculate consignment inventory/usage, generate weekly invoice
G. Contact customer to collect delinquent invoices
H. Review and answer customer inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies and payments
I. Adjust invoices for Line-Item Surcharge
J. Answer phones
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
The following is a brief description of the technical skills and experience required:
A- Ability to read and write English.
B- High volume production oriented
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college coursework is preferred
- 35 years of experience
- Microsoft experience necessary (Excel and Word)
- Experience working with ERP systems
Job Type:
Part-Time (24 to 32 hours a week) - Benefits available to those who work 30+ hours per week.
