When you join RadNet as a_Utilization Department Lead_, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders
- patients, providers, payors, and regulators achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will:
- Creates edits or cancels new or current patient orders, and notifies staff of changes when necessary.
- Enters accurate information in the system for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation and comment entry.
- Works closely with referring physicians' staff to obtain patient notes and begin process of authorizations.
- Communicates and interacts with all departments effectively and professionally.
- Ensures accurate, timely, and thorough documentation and completion of all necessary paperwork, according to established standards.
- Follows all HIPAA, compliance, privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Contacts medical groups and offices as needed to obtain information needed to complete cases
- Imports referrals and patient paperwork into eRAD RIS.
- Completes all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years of UM or medical job related experience preferred.
- Experience of working with Microsoft excel, office and word is preferred.
- Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong public relations skills, and exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be detailoriented and organized, possess clerical skills, and have the ability to interact effectively with doctors, referring doctors and staff, patients, vendors, peers, and management
Pay Range:
USD $ USD $18.00 /per hour Shift:
Mornings Shift Variations:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm PST
