Position Summary:

Center for Family Services is seeking a full time Behavioral Health Assistant to act as a support to our Prescribers and Patients in our Outpatient Department in Absecon.

Absecon, NJ (Atlantic County)

Job Type/Status:
Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

Will work alongside of the Behavioral Health Case Manager to provide support to our team of Prescribers.
Will assist with managing Prescriber schedules.
Checks in patients, measures vital signs, and documents all information in preparation for their appointments.
Assist with providing receptionist coverage and/or assisting with duties such as checking in and directing clients, collecting copays, scheduling of client appointments and conduct outreaches to clients who miss or cancel their medication appointments, answering phones, and data entry.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent or an Associate's Degree
Must have experience working in a medical and/or behavioral health setting.
Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)
Must have strong organizational skills and will provide excellent customer service.
Be familiar with Electronic Health Records and will assist with completing chart documentation, as required.
