    Does Trescal sound like the place for you? Then join our teamWe have a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated General Purpose Calibration Technician with a strong background in the electronics test and measurements sector to join our team in Cleveland, OH In this role you will:

    Perform calibrations on high level and unique test and measurement instrumentation
    Use your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on unique equipment

    Help interact with customer to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards and test procedures utilized by Trescal Inc.

    Ensure that preventative maintenance of the laboratory's equipment is performed in a timely and acceptable manner,
    Managing work load distribution for the technicians within his/her sphere of influence when the Laboratory Manager is not available.
    Performing daily inspections of the incoming equipment to verify: accessories and manuals are available, malfunctions of customer instrumentation, and to change equipment status when appropriate

    RequirementsAs a Calibration Technician you must possess:*Military (PMEL & TMDE) training & experience OR technical associates degree OR equivalent work experience*Minimum of 4 years of commercial or military calibration laboratory experience*Experience in calibrating multiple disciplines of Test & Measurement Equipment; i

    e:

    Electrical/Electronics - DC/low.*Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements*Experience in communication with customer and peers, including ability to mentor or train*Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.

    *Open to some local and overnight travel up to 25% And we would prefer:*Knowledge of ANSI / NCSL Z-540 and ISO 9000
