What you will do...


In this coordinator/administrative role, under the direction of the Preconstruction Lead, you will assist in manufacturing production order scheduling and order processing for Fairway Architectural Railing Solutions (FARS).

In this position, you will work as the liaison between the preconstruction design process and the manufacturing & production department.


This is an on-site role.

In a typical day you will...

  • Comply with all environmental and safety regulations.
  • Assist with managing the production schedule.
  • Manage and update due dates for production orders.
  • Communicate with Project Managers to prioritize rushed tickets.
  • Communicate with production facilities to coordinate production.
  • Serve as the point of contact with Envision Outdoor Living Products (EOLP) to coordinate fulfillment of purchase orders.
  • Process purchase orders from EOLP to create production orders.
  • Process field measurement documentation for transfer to the Drafting Department.
  • Process drafted orders to create production orders in ERP/D36
  • Manage and uploads ordering data in ERP/D36
  • Assist the Preconstruction Department with unit breakdowns as needed.
  • Work safely and in a fashion that exhibits the company's core values and Zero-Incident Safety Culture.
  • Follow departmental and company safety rules and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will bring to the role...

Education & Experience (required unless noted otherwise):

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a fastpaced, highvolume manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience using Smart Sheets and ERP systems is preferred.
  • Previous experience/ability to read mechanical, construction & shop drawings is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Proven working knowledge of computers and other communication and technical devices.
  • Proven skills in basic math that involve making calculations of amounts, sizes or other measurements. (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.)
  • Proven skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work and coordinate with individuals in various departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
  • Must be available to work in the office (this is not a remote position).

Work Environment/Functional Qualifications:


  • Work is performed indoors in an environmentally controlled setting.

Pay:
$24.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
