Clinical Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities:

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine DSM-V diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations.
Conduct insurance authorization with insurance/managed care companies, including clinical presentation, acuity, the rationale for continued stay, treatment goals, and discharge criteria.
Communicate and collaborate with referring professionals.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation via electronic health records.

Additional Responsibilities

Work in a multi-disciplinary team to provide direct patient care as needed (i.e. facilitating groups or therapeutic meals).

Education, Competencies, and Credentials:

Master's level clinician in social work, counseling, or closely related field
Maryland License and Licensed eligible preferred (LGPC, LCPC,LMSW, LCSW-C)
Previous experience working with eating disorder patients is highly preferred.
Prior experience working with or in a managed care company is a plus.

Hours: 40 hours per week M-F, potential for some remote work with one evening per week.
