    Description

    Auria Holmesville is looking to add a Quality Engineer to the team Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions.

    Our products help drivers around the world have quiet drives.

    We operate 17 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 11 countries and has nearly 3,900 employees worldwide.

    Experienced in using statistical tools, problem solving tools, and methodology. (i.e., 8D, 5Y, Fishbone etc.)Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions resulting from non-conformances.
    Assist with the analysis of SPC data.
    Develop and maintain error-proofing/mistake-proofing methods in manufacturing cells.
    Participate in APQP team activities for IMDS submissions, Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Charts.

    Manage new processes and implementation regarding new product launchesParticipate on plant continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in customer meetingsParticipate in quality reporting and management review process.


    Provide process improvement recommendationsPreferred Education/Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field is required.3-5 Years Quality ExperienceProven work experience in process engineeringAutomotive manufacturing experience a plusFamiliarity of process flow as it relates to lean manufacturingAbility to consistently meet deadlines is requiredEffective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills are requiredAbility to sustain a high degree of professionalism while interacting with internal and external customers is requiredEffective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills are requiredExperience with ISO-16949 and ISO-9001 is preferredExperience with IATF is preferred
